The guidelines:

  • Do not register a female dog in heat.
  • Your dog must be current on all its vaccinations.

  • Dogs under 6 months old should not be registered for the event.
  • Dogs are permitted on Race Village grounds but are not allowed inside of Hope Village.
  • Please clean up after your dog using any of the “Doody Depository” stations along the Race route.

Q. What can my dog do at the event?

LexiDog Boutique and Social Club and Lucky Dog as the Dog Zone sponsor! They will have specialty doggie goodie bags for registered pups along with a DIY making station!

Q. How do I add a dog?
A. Click here for additional information.

Q. Where do we put dog poop?
   A. Each pup and handler pair will be given one poop bag in the Dog Zone. Garbage cans are stationed throughout the park and the route for you to dispose of any waste. You must pick up after your pup. If your pup needs more than one poop bag, please plan accordingly.

Q. What if it is hot?
   A. If the forecast is calling for heat, we suggest you take the needed precautions for your dog. Have water ready for them, and if it is too hot, consider leaving your four legged friend at home. The entire route is on cement ground. We want to keep their paws safe!
