Row for the Cure – July 28, 2018 – Vancouver Lake

Registration is now open for Row for the Cure! This year we are excited to celebrate 25 years of this event with flair, fun, food, and drinks!


Race for the Cure – September 16, 2018 – Tom McCall Waterfront Park

Mark your calendars! Registration opens July 10 with early bird pricing through August 10! Register your pup for Pups in Pink!

Kick for Komen – September 30, 2018 – Glendoveer Golf

Mark your calendar! Join our Ambassador Board for their annual Kick for Komen footgolf tournament at Glendoveer Golf Course. Their will be food, drinks, raffles, and more!

Community Programs

Komen Speakers Bureau

We are seeking volunteers across Oregon & SW Washington to join the Komen Speakers Bureau. Speakers Bureau members serve as Komen representatives at a variety of community outreach events and breast health presentations. Members are asked to attend an orientation and commit to volunteering at least twice a year. The next Speakers Bureau trainings are June 26 at 4pm or June 27 at 10am, at the Komen office and via webinar. Please email Bridget at to register or learn more.

Treatment Access Program

For people in treatment for breast cancer, who must travel long distances to that treatment, the Komen Treatment Access Program can provide much needed financial relief.

Metastatic Breast Cancer Activities

If you are living with stage IV metastatic breast cancer, put these dates on your calendar for the following free events:

Eugene Breast Cancer Forum – October 9, 2018

Save the date and plan to join us for lunch at our third Breast Cancer Forum, being hosted by and held at Valley River Inn. Kerri Winters-Stone, PhD, will present, “Exercise Medicine for Breast Cancer: Can Moving Save Your Life?”

Lunch for a Cure – April 11, 2018

In April, we welcomed 400 guests and raised over $340,000 to help fuel critical Komen programs throughout the year, including access to treatment and advanced breast cancer research. Watch the program and our More Than Pink video that KOIN 6 put together.
