Grantee Highlight – ScreenWise
Komen funding allows ScreenWise (formerly the Oregon Breast and Cervical Cancer Program) to provide non-CDC-covered breast cancer screening and diagnostic services throughout Oregon. This includes genetic counseling and testing, diagnostic testing for men, and services that reduce patient barriers for priority populations and facilitate access to screening and diagnostic services.
Answer2Cancer – April 7, 2018
Komen is excited to return as a partner of Answer2Cancer, a free patient and family event, held in Portland, designed for those going through and surviving cancer. Attendees will learn about their own diagnosis and topics surrounding cancer. Learn more.
Metastatic Breast Cancer Dinner Series – May 15, 2018
If you are living with stage IV breast cancer, join us in Portland for our next MBC Dinner Series event. Joe Gray, Ph.D. will be speaking. He holds positions as Professor and Gordon Moore Endowed Chair in the Department of Biomedical Engineering; Director of the Center for Spatial Systems Biomedicine (OCSSB); and Associate Director for Biophysical Oncology at the OHSU Knight Cancer Institute.
