Join us for the 20th annual Breast Cancer Issues Conference!

The Breast Cancer Issues Conference provides survivors & fighters, support persons, high-risk individuals, and health care professionals the opportunity to learn about and discuss breast cancer topics with leading health professionals, researchers, and fellow survivors. Topics cover emerging research and treatment options, breast cancer risk reduction, and quality of life issues.

FAQ & General Information

Registration Deadline & Cancellation Policy
Online registration will close on March 14 at 11:59 pm. Limited registration will be available on-site, beginning at 8 am at the conference. Cancellations will be accepted in writing until March 15, 2018 at 11:59 pm.

Session Handouts
Select presentation handouts will be emailed to all attendees on March 15.

Continuing Education Credits
Course rosters will be submitted to the appropriate entities for imaging technologists, nurses and social workers. All attendees requiring CE credit will be given a certificate of completion. It is the participant’s responsibility to verify the requirements of his or her state/provincial licensing board(s) and to self-report any CE credits earned.

Credits Awarded: 
Nurses: 5.4 credits
Imaging Technologists: 4.5 – 5 credits (No credits awarded for sessions 1D & 2B. Selection of session 2A will result in 4.5 credits)
Social Workers: 4.5 credits
PT/OT/Psychologists/Other: 4.5 credits

Poster Session
Researchers will present breast cancer related research in poster form, and will answer questions and explain results to conference attendees during three breaks. The poster session will be located at the back of the ballroom, just off the lobby. Posters will be available between 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM.

Researchers must submit their research abstract by Febraury 9, 2018. The abstract template and instructions can be found here.
