Breast Cancer Issues Conference
See below for refund information.
The Breast Cancer Issues Conference provides survivors & fighters, support persons, high-risk individuals, and health care professionals the opportunity to learn about and discuss breast cancer topics with leading health professionals, researchers, and fellow survivors. Topics cover emerging research and treatment options, breast cancer risk reduction, and quality of life issues.
FAQ & General Information
As the 2020/21 conference has been cancelled, your registration will be automatically cancelled. You are welcome to record your registration fee as a donation to Susan G. Komen Oregon and SW Washington. It will be directed towards the legacy gifts that are being donated to the breast cancer community with our programs. If you would like a refund, email firstname.lastname@example.org with your full name and request no later than February 17, 2021.
A limited number of general scholarships are available on a first come, first served basis. Scholarships will be prioritized for individuals who demonstrate financial need, and will only be given to individuals who have, or have had breast cancer.
Attendees with Metastatic Breast Cancer
Thanks to sponsor funding, the first 50 registrants living with MBC will be able to attend at no cost. Please select the ticket type “living with stage IV/Metastatic breast cancer” on the general attendee registration page. Please note that this funding is for the person living with MBC only. If a caregiver would like to attend, but the registration fee is a barrier, please contact Komen for a scholarship (see above). We also have BCI Conference-specific travel assistance available for individuals living with MBC who must travel to attend the conference. Additional details and the application are being updated and can be found here in early 2021.

Course rosters will be submitted to the appropriate entities for imaging technologists, nurses, and social workers. All attendees requiring CE credits will be given a certificate of completion.
