Where did you grow up?
I spent most of my childhood in rural Oregon in Linn County.

Who is in your family?
My family is my Grandma Domitila, mom Maria, dad Carlos, my two sisters, my nephew and niece, and my puppy Nacho.

What has your favorite age been (so far) and why?
My favorite age was 18, when I moved to Portland and started my journey into adulthood and self-discovery.

What is your favorite book?
Anything from Esmeralda Santiago and books by inspiring women like Angela Davis, Michelle Obama and Assata Shakur.

What has been your favorite vacation – where and why?
Mexico, I spent a few months in Mexico after graduating college and it was amazing to learn about my culture hands on.

If you could live anywhere for two years, where would it be?
Mexico City. It has the best food, night life, and museums.

What are two on your “top 10” song list?
Celia Cruz- La Vida es Un Carnaval and Selena- Si Una Vez

What would you like to do on your “bucket” list?
Visit all of Central and South America.

What is your favorite sport?
Volleyball, my youngest sister and I bond over playing our favorite sport together.

What do you like to do when you aren’t at work?
I enjoy spending time with friends and family over a cup of coffee or a nice homemade meal. I also enjoy traveling, dancing, cooking, and learning.
