State of Breast Cancer: The Community Profile

Komen Oregon and SW Washington conducts a community needs assessment to analyze the state of breast cancer in our community. This report, called the Community Profile is completed every four years. This report provides quantitative and qualitative assessments of the breast health and cancer needs, and the resources that exist to meet those needs throughout our community. The Community Profile is a tool that guides our funding priorities, ensuring that patient needs are being met and programs are being optimized. It also outlines areas where additional education and services are required to reduce the breast cancer burden for specific populations.
