Volunteering

At Susan G. Komen Oregon and SW Washington,  we simply can’t do the important work we do without volunteers. The Race for the Cure uses 1,000 volunteers helping with distribution of posters, sorting t-shirts, answering phones, setting up Race Village at Waterfront Park and cheerleading along the Race Course!   We have volunteers who stuff envelopes, help in the office, help us at health fairs and share their stories with the public. A list of current and upcoming volunteer opportunities are listed below.

Komen Breast Health Representative
            Attend health fairs and represent Komen at breast health presentations.The next volunteer orientation for the Komen Speakers Bureau will take place on August 10th. Contact bjamieson@komenoregon.org to register.
