Where did you grow up?
All over… I’m an Air Force brat. I was born in Minnesota and lived in Nebraska twice, Italy, Holland, and Southern California, before going to college at the University of Minnesota.

Who is in your family?
My parents, an older brother and his daughter, and my cat, Markovka.

What has your favorite age been (so far) and why?
They’ve all been pretty fabulous for different reasons.

What is your favorite book?
Pride & Prejudice

What has been your favorite vacation - where and why?
I have been lucky in the travel department, but I think Tanzania might win the prize. It had the fun of safari in the Serengeti, the pristine beaches of Zanzibar, and the amazing culture of the local people all rolled into one place.

If you could live anywhere for two years, where would it be?
I’d live anywhere in Eastern Europe. It is not quite yet Westernized, so still a bit quirky, and it is easily accessible to a lot of really great places.

What are two on your "top 10" song list?
No idea; I mainly listen to alternative music, though.

What would you like to do on your "bucket" list?
I’ve always wanted to go skydiving.

What is your favorite sport?
I’m not really into sports, but I do like a good hockey game.

What do you like to do when you aren't at work?
I paddle, volunteer, spend time in wine country, play outside, and travel as much as possible.
