Where did you grow up?
Only three places, believe it or not.  The first sixteen years, I lived in Boise, Idaho, and then my adulthood, thus far, has been in Oregon.  For one year in my twenties, I lived in Ulsan, South Korea as a teacher!

Who is in your family?
My grandmother (89 years old) is the matriarch of the family. I was raised by a village…. grandparents, aunts, uncles, along with six cousins!

What has your favorite age been (so far) and why?
Not sure. But, right now feels good.

What is your favorite book?
The series by Naguib Mahfouz, The Cairo Trilogy.

What has been your favorite vacation - where and why?
Greece….Santorini, Crete and mainland Athens for many reasons. However, France holds my heart and my heritage.

If you could live anywhere for two years, where would it be?
Rio de Janeiro, Brazil or Provence, France.

What are two on your "top 10" song list?
Shirley Bassey’s Where Do I Begin (Love Story) and anything by Thievery Corporation.

What would you like to do on your "bucket" list?
Walk the Camino de Santiago – 500 miles from the Pyranees of France across Spain to Santiago de Compostela.

What is your favorite sport?
Tennis, followed by European soccer

What do you like to do when you aren't at work?
Cook for friends and play outdoors - cycling, skiing, hiking, tennis. Always love good magazines (VF and Sunset).  You can find me dreaming in my garden and planning my next trip!
