Did you know that for $100 you have
the power to save a life?
Here's how: Register for the Race
and choose the "Save a Life" option. For every $77 donated, we are able to
provide a mammogram to a local woman who is uninsured or who otherwise couldn't
afford a mammogram. Research shows that early detection is our best weapon
right now in the fight against breast cancer. When detected early, the 5-year
survival rate is a 98%.
The "Save a Life" option includes
your Race for the Cure® entry fee and a $77 tax deductible donation (which will
be credited toward your personal online fundraising total) that will fund one
mammogram for a local uninsured woman. Thank you for joining us in our mission
