Cultural Competency Training

for Health Providers and Community Organizations

The Oregon and SW Washington Affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure® is pleased to announce a new Cultural Competency training being offered by the Breast Health Task Force of the Oregon Partnership for Cancer Control. Komen has been an active partner in this statewide coalition for several years. The training is offered for health providers and community organizations that serve a variety of racial, ethnic and special populations that are often underserved. The goal of the training is help providers offer services in a manner that encourages more participation by these special populations, helps them to feel more comfortable and increases communication.
